The Bombers traveled to Royal Center on Monday to take on the Pioneer Panthers. After leading the Panthers 12-10 after the 1st quarter, the Bombers defense took over and held the Panthers to 14 pts over the last 3 quarters of the ball game. The bench came in and did another nice job of keeping the defense on a roll and running our offense that the Panthers had trouble defending. All 10 players contributed again for the Bombers. Leading the Bombers in scoring was Dalton Henry 16 pts, Colby Chapman 11 pts. The Bombers are on a 3 game winning streak that puts their record at 3-1. Their next game is on Monday night at Hebron.
The Bombers “B” team also played Pioneer and came out on top by a score of 44-30. Scoring for the Bombers was Cass Pulver 12 pts, Harrison Odle 10 pts, Carter Drone 6 pts, Tristen Weitrich and Zachary Geleott both with 5, and Matt Brandenburg, Nolan Potts, and Nolan Conrad all had 2 pts. The “B” team now has a record of 2-0 and next play Monday night at Hebron.
