WOW!!! What a night at Emory Harrison Athletic Complex as the Bomber JV improved to 4-1 on the year with a 26-18 victory in 4 OVERTIMES!! The game was tied at 6-6 at the end of regulation. Addie Wilmington was the lone score for the Bombers in the 2nd quarter. Game was all tied up 6-6 as Bombers got inside the 20 as time expired. Heading into 1st OT, Bombers were on Defense first and LCC scored on their 1st play from 10 yards out, however 2 pt conversion was no good. Bombers got a score from Austin Francis to tie it up 12-12 but Bombers 2pt attempt also was thwarted. In 2nd OT session, Bombers got the ball 1st and could not get a score after 4 plays, however the DEFENSE stepped up and also held LCC without a score. Heading into OVERTIME number 3, Bombers were back on defense and could not hold LCC, as they went up 18-12, however 2pt conversion again was unsuccessful. Bombers turn on offense and they were able to get the ball in the end zone with QB run by Dalton Kidd to tie it up, but the 2pt conversion was denied by LCC. Bombers then had to go back on offense right away to start the 4th OVERTIME, this time Addie Wilmington was able to take the handoff around the left side for a walk in touchdown and this time around the Bombers were able to CONVERT their 2pt conversion for a 8 point lead as the defense was sent out to hold LCC. On 4th down at 7 yard line, Jake Lane from his defensive end position was able to get a tip on a pass that made the ball fall short of the intended receiver which ended this epic game with a BOMBER JV Victory!! Lane also had 3 other sack on the night.
