The Lady Bombers showed up to win Saturday’s KV Invite and thats just what they did. In the first round the Lady Bombers took on Chesterton, winning the game 34-7. Sarah Kaufman lead the Bombers in scoring with 10 points. Cadence Manns, Bailee Radtke, and Addy Hensler added 6 points each for the Bombers. Allana Redlin added 4 and Emma Rentschler had 2. The Lady Bombers took on the Lady Kougars of KV in the championship game. After losing twice to the Lady Kougars previously in the season, once in a previous tournament and once in regular season, The Lady Bombers were not going down without a fight. We pulled it off with a 37-29 win and walked away with the trophy. The Lady Bombers were lead in scoring by Sarah Kaufman, who put up 16 points to help in her teams victory. Cadence Manns had 14, Bailee Radtke added 3. And Allana Redlin and Addy Hensler added 2 each. This was by far the best performance that the Lady Bombers had all season. Although she didn’t score, Emma Rentschler was key in this victory with her outstanding defense, which held KV’s number one scorer to limited points. Both wins for the day brought the Lady Bomber’s record to 10-5.
