The Rensselaer Central Middle School swim team swam against Delphi Oracles Tuesday March 6th. Delphi was a strong competitor and they came away with a win against RMCS, final score was 107-79. Even with this loss our swimmers had some great swims. Congratulations to both teams and their swimmers.

RCMS place 2nd in the 200yd Medley Relay with a time of 2:17, while Delphi took place with a time of 2:15, showing just how close RCMS was all night!

Other key events were the 50yd Free where Lilly Cook took 1st place, and had a personal best time and state meet time of :27.26. Way to go Lilly.

Our divers Hayden Box, Hannah Wisley took 2nd and 3rd respectively. Great job.

Emily Meyers flew her way to 1st place in the 50yd Fly with a time of :31.11.

After watching Lilly set her personal best time in the 50yd Free, she came back to win 1st place in the 100yd Free with a time 1.02.55 and our own Conner Parker in 2nd with a time of 1.02.94.

After seeing RCMS win the last two individual events during the evening, Ary Nelson showed her swimming skills and took 1st place in the 400yrd Free with a personal best time of 4:45.

With the last event of the night, the 400yd Relay, RCMS took 1st place with a time of 4.25.

RCMS is 3-2 on the season with a home meet Thursday March 8th against Harrison. Next week the Bombers take on BC and final away meet against Twin Lakes.
