The Bombers had a great day of swimming at the Hoosier Conference Meet on Saturday. The diving portion of the meet was held on Wednesday, and Senior Morgan Molenaar became the Hoosier Conference Champion!! Morgan also placed 10th in the 100 breaststroke on Saturday. Congratulations, Morgan!! Hayden Box finished 11th in the diving event. On Saturday, Sophomore Aidan Geleott led the Bombers with a 3rd place finish in the IM and a 4th place finish in the 100 butterfly. Junior James Michael placed 5th in the 200 freestyle and 6th in the 100 freestyle with PRs in both events. Jacob Parrish was 5th in the 500 freestyle and 8th in the 200 freestyle. Eli Dobson finished 5th in the 100 butterfly and 12th in the IM. Alex Nagel was 9th in both the 500 freestyle and the 100 backstroke. John Michael finished 13th in both the 50 and 100 freestyle. Ben Olson finished 14th in the 100 backstroke. Bryce Powell finished 15th in the 100 butterfly and 16th in the IM. The 200 medley relay team of Alex Nagel, Jacob Parrish, Eli Dobson and John Michael placed 7th. The 200 freestyle relay team of Aidan Geleott, Eli Dobson, James Michael and John Michael placed 5th, and the 400 freestyle relay team of Aidan Geleott, Jacob Parrish, Alex Nagel and James Michael finished 6th. The Bombers record is now 9-2 in duel meets and have won both the Delphi Invitation and the Rensselaer Relays Invitational and finished 5th in the Hoosier Conference Meet. The Bombers have two duel meets remaining. They will travel to Harrison on Tuesday night and will host McCutcheon a week from Thursday.
