The Bombers got their 3rd win in a row today! The game was scoreless for the first 10 minutes until Dalton Henry found DJ Handford open on the left side of the goal. North White struck back about a minute later when they broke through the Bomber defense. They were able to get a cross off from the goal line which was deflected of the defense into the goal. The Bombers quickly rallied and pushed the ball back up the field, which resulted in a foul and a direct free kick for the Bombers. Luke Dixon took the kick from outside the penalty box and blasted it into the right side of the net.
In the second half the Bombers came out the game quickly scoring in the fist 3 minutes. Henry was fouled from behind in the box. Dixon got his second goal from the penalty kick. North White got their final goal a few minutes later when they caught the defense out of position with a 30 yard shot. With about 20 minutes left on the clock Alex Zaragoza collected a pass from Cohen Craig, lined up, and put the ball in the goal off a shot from outside the box.
Defensively for the Bombers Matthew Brandenburg and Broc Beier had an outstanding game. They were able to keep North White to only 5 shots on goal. Elijah Gastineau had 4 saves in the game and stay active in the game helping move the ball in the backfield.
The Bombers next play away @ Twin Lakes1(1-3-1) next Tuesday 4:30 PM CT.
