Rensselaer Central Varsity football team dropped a restarted Homecoming Saturday morning to Lafayette Central Catholic by score 20-17 at Emory Harrison Athletic Complex. Bombers were led offensively by QB Noah Bierma who was in replacing an injured Eli Hickman with a 108 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown. Senior Kiren Hesson got the Bombers on the board with a 11 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter while Kaden Pinkerman knocked in the PAT and a FG before half was over. Defensively Bombers led in tackles by Luke Standish with 13. Bombers are now 4-2 on the year and will be on the road next week at Benton Central.
