The Bombers overcame a slow start and the red hot William Larkin to win the final game of the regular season. The Bombers scored only nine points in the first quarter while Larkin scored all 15 Winamac points. The Bombers buckled down on defense, but the Warriors held a one point lead at half. The third quarter turned the tides with the Bombers scoring 17 and holding Winamac to nine. The fourth quarter free throws, again, sealed the game for the Bombers when they hit 10-11.
The Bombers were led in scoring by Josh Fleming (18), Alex Gull (16), and Tate Drone (15). Other contributors included Jacoby Tiede-Souza (4), Brody Chamness (2), Camden Chapman (2), and Jacob Hillan (2).
The Bombers return to action on Tuesday in the first round of the Winamac hosted Sectional Tournament against North Newton.
