Rensselaer faced off against West Lafayette in the Conference Tournament Championship game Saturday and fell short in the finale. The game was close throughout, but the deciding factors were Rensselaer’s inability to rebound and (5) made 3 point baskets by the Red Devils in the second half.
Rensselaer was led in scoring by Bryan Camarena (15), Brock Hurley (9), and Corbin Mathew (8). The Bombers fought hard through injuries and fatigue due to short numbers but could not avoid their first defeat in over a month. Rensselaer’s record now stands at 12 wins and 3 losses.
