The Rensselaer 8th grade boys traveled to Benton Central Saturday for the WCJC Conference Tournament. In the opening game the Bombers drew Faith Christian, Rensselaer shot the ball well and stifled Faith with their defense in a 57-29 victory. Leading all scorers was Corbin Mathew with 18 points (10 steals), Bryan Camarena added 11 points and 6 rebounds, Diego Reyes-Hernandez scored 8 and Desmond Johns 7.
