Game Recap

The Rensselaer Central Bombers freshman boys basketball team traveled to Lowell bright and early Saturday morning for their annual freshman tournament. In the first game the Bombers played Griffith High School in a hard fought game. Griffith ended up coming out on top 36-31. Leading your Bombers in scoring against Griffith was Alex Gull with 14 points followed by Camden Chapman with 6, Jacob Hillan with 6, and Matthew McGowan with 5.
In the consolation game the Bombers played Lowell. In another hard fought game the Bombers came out on top by a score of 38-35. Leading your Bombers in scoring against Lowell was Alex Gull with 13 points followed by Jacob Hillan with 11, Matthew McGowan with 10, Camden Chapman with 2, and Clayton Nagel with 2. After leaving the tournament the Bombers now sit at 9-6 on the season. We will travel to Lafayette Jeff High School Monday night to compete in the annual Lafayette tournament. We will take on Central Catholic in the opening round of this tournament.
