Game Recap

Rensselaer came into the game expecting a battle. That’s exactly what it is. The Bombers led by as many as 8 in the first half, but Hebron kept pounding the ball inside. The Hawks continued to chip away at the lead and take advantage at a couple of miscues on the Bombers side. Hebron was able to hit buzzer beater three point field goals at the end of the 1st half and at the end of the game. The one at the end of the game was the dagger and possibly the first lead of the game for Hebron.

The size of Hebron and the in-the-paint battle was too much. Rensselaer was able to do an outstanding job on defense the first half, but the low post players of Hebron got loose in the second half.

Landon Balch led the way with 16 points. Kobe Austin and Jaylen Gilbert added 9 points a piece. Bombers continue to play well during the month of January, now on to February.
